SolarEdge P400 power optimizers are installed on the back of each module in a PV system. They constantly track the peak output of each module and transmit the collected data to the SolarEdge monitoring platform to maximize power harvesting. When combined with a SolarEdge inverter, P400 optimizers maintain the string voltage at a constant level, irrespective of the length of the string. This allows the PV system to mitigate the negative impact when one or more panels are shaded.
